Nuova Scuola Grande di Santa Maria della Misericordia
The Scuola Grande di Santa Maria della Misericordia (or Santa Maria Valverde) was a school (brotherhood) in Venice from 1308 to 1806. Its history is linked to that of the Abbey Church of Mercy, near which they erected in time two sites still preserved and known as the Old School of Santa Maria della Misericordia and the new School of Santa Maria della Misericordia.
